They say the existing site is too small but why haven’t they asked the people of Hythe if they actually want such a big new pool?
Hope you’ve seen the front page of the Hythe Herald today? So why hasn’t there been a proper public consultation about the site and size of the proposed new pool? Write to your Shepway councillor and ask them!
Shepway claim that it is not feasible to put a new pool on the existing site although this is the preferred option for many local people .Save Princes Parade has commissioned some plans to show how it might in fact be possible to use the existing site for the proposed new leisure centre.
If you would like to view these plans and discuss them with us, please come along to
Seabrook Church Hall on
Wednesday 4 December at 7pm.
Our online petition is still open. If you haven’t already signed it, please do so now.
