Walk 31 August 11am
Join us for a walk on Prince’s Parade – a chance to discuss the issues. Meet at the white tram shelter at 11am, Sat 31 August.
Petition to amend the NPPF
Please sign this petition. There is a huge conflict between the assumption in favour of sustainable development in the NPPF ( sustainable here doesn’t just refer to the environment ) and localism. Guess which one usually wins!

Commercial
Shepway’s latest Prince’s Parade newsletter is now talking about the possibility of businesses being built there. That wasn’t in the consultation.

Public meeting Tues 14 May
As Shepway have turned down our request for a public meeting we will be holding our own meeting at Hythe Bay School on Tues 14th May 6.30-9.00 pm. Hope to see you there.
Public Meeting
I asked Cllr Bliss for a public meeting but surprise surprise he has refused. Took him over a month to compose the reply though. If Shepway really thought their plans were for the good of Hythe they would have the courage to stand up and justify them.
